The Round Table is the Real Deal.

It has come to the attention of The Round Table editors that a new online publication has been founded at Stamford High School. We take no issue with this new media that has been visible around the school; in fact, we believe that the availability of varied school-related media is ultimately beneficial for the student body. That said, to avoid any confusion, we would like to make it clear that The Round Table is the only official newspaper of Stamford High School. Some of the things that set us apart are:

  • The Round Table uses Associated Press style, spelling, and punctuation
  • We have an official website, located at shsroundtable.com
  • We identify our interview subjects
  • We follow AP style guidelines for journalistic citations
  • All of our content is edited thoroughly by trained staff before publication
  • We never advocate for the breaking of school policies
  • We do not feature advertisements or endorsements in our news
  • Our news is historically credible, with an established record of covering SHS news for more than 50 years.
  • We have garnered several awards for our work

We care a lot about the content that we provide to our readers, and we hope that our readers continue to enjoy reading our publication. Remember, there’s only one Round Table!
