October 23. The day we have all been waiting for, the day our favorite show returns. The day we finally get to know who was Lucilled. I am EXTREMELY excited!

We finally met Negan at the at the end of the sixth season. He is, in my opinion, the most ruthless and violent villain that we have met so far. However, think about it like this: is he the villain? Our group, Rick and friends, barged into his home and killed dozens of his people. Negan is just doing what any sane leader would do. Still, we don’t want to hear about any of that; Rick is our boy, and Darryl is our God. So let’s get to what everyone is ripping their hair out about. Who got Lucilled? Who got straight up murdered? I’ll give you my theory. I think the most logical person for Negan to kill would have been either Carl or Michonne. However, we know that it’s not Carl because of what Negan said. He said, “Anybody moves, anybody says anything, cut the boy’s other eye out and feed it to his father.” So we know it’s not Rick and we know it’s not Carl due to of this line. We also know that Rick and Michonne have a romantic relationship now (a.k.a. Rickchonne). So, my prediction is that Negan killed Michonne because of her relationship with Rick.

We know that Negan is smart, and any smart leader like Negan always knows what is going on around him. There is no way he was not spying on Rick’s group. With a guy like Negan, he probably knows everything about our group and every little inner working detail that has to do with how our favorite characters function. That being said, Negan most likely knows about the relationship between Rick and Michonne. So if Negan was a smart, effective leader (which we know he is) he would chop his opponent, Rick, down a block. Best way to do that is to take away something or someone that he loves. If I were Negan I would have killed Carl, but that’s not what the evidence points to. So, sadly, I think our favorite sword swinging walker killer was Lucilled at the end of season 6, but we’ll just have to wait until October 23rd.
