In this special, reporters interviewed teachers about their HBCU doors, a Stamford High tradition. Round table reporters also interviewed students on who their favorite ‘historical’ black person is.
Hi guys! My name is Jamilla Plowden and I’m one of this year’s Editor-in-Chiefs. Outside of the Round Table, I am the Captain of the girls’ varsity basketball team, a 3-year varsity athlete of the track & field team, a proud member of the National Honor Society, and a Leadership Council member of Early College Studies. Within my busy schedule, I’m a movie fanatic, love writing poems, stress myself on Roblox, or occasionally read a corny romance novel. I am so grateful to be a part of The Round Table. I hope to make a mark on the 25-’26 newspaper!
Hey guys! I’m Princesse Stessy Hyppolite, and I’m this year’s Distraction Editor! When I’m not doing the Round Table, I’m all about sports. I am of the Wrestling Captains, and a Varsity thrower for the track and field team. Outside of sports I am part of the Leadership Council Member of ECS, and VP of the Chem Club. Although I have a busy schedule I still try to do things I enjoy. I love movies, shows, anime, Kdramas, Jdramas, Telenovelas, anything tv related. I also love spending time with people around me, and making new friends; so if you ever see me don’t be afraid to say hi :). So excited for this year!!!
Hey y’all! I’m Fordlee Nivrose. I am so excited to be able to contribute to the Round Table for my second year! During the 2025-2026 school year, I am one of the two Radio Directors! Additionally to my role with the Round Table, I am the Head Manager for the Stamford High Schools Wrestling team. Outside of school, I enjoy hanging out with friends, playing Minecraft and shopping. I hope to have an amazing and memorable school year! Go Black Knights!
