The Comfort Cases initiative is off to an amazing start! Thank you so much to everyone who has contributed so far. We still have items we need to reach our goal. This initiative, designed to bring a sense of dignity to those children entering foster care, provides personal items in the form of a special bag they can call their own. The bags will be assembled and delivered to the Boys and Girls Village of CT in May.
We will be collecting items to be included in bags for children ranging from infants to teens, with comfort items geared for each age and gender. New this year, we have an Amazon Gift List, where needed items can be purchased and delivered to SHS for this initiative. You can choose what you would like to donate, and spend whatever you are comfortable contributing to this amazing cause. If you prefer to shop on your own, items will be collected in the bin located in the front foyer of Stamford High.
