Biology teacher William Halmeck and his AP Biology class dissected three cats during Periods 1,2, and 3 on May 26. Students used their knowledge from the course to cut open, observe, and determine the cats’ different organs and systems.

Senior Gracie Marcinczyk, who will be attending George Washington University for Neuroscience in the fall, commented on her experience.

“It was a good learning experience and cool to see real organs — it makes me excited for college,” she said.
