SHS to Host “Black is Beautiful” Virtual Panel Thursday

In honor of Black History month Stamford High School is hosting its first virtual all black speaker panel. This meeting will be held on Thursday, February 18 at 7:00 pm. The panelists scheduled to speak have jobs ranging from a  medical physician to a Grammy-Award-winning music producer. 

The goal of this panel is to discuss careers, culture, and find what drives or motivates you. It could also help many overcome future or present challenges. Our own fellow SHS students will be moderating the discussion panel themselves. Students who attend will be given the opportunity to ask questions at the end of the discussion. 

Teachers are encouraged to give out extra credit points or assign the panel viewing as a class assignment to increase participation. The link to the panel discussion itself. All students must sign on to the link with their school email to access it.   Here is the link to register:
