Stamford High loses a tough one to Fairfield Warde

On Friday, September 7, Stamford High football played their opening game against Fairfield Warde. With a great fan turnout due to a new policy of free admission, spirits were high. Principal Raymond Manka said it was a great turnout, and that the fans and gave the team pride in who they play for. Stamford High lead the game for three quarters until Warde came back and scored in the fourth quarter to seal the win.
