SHS to Record First-Ever Lip Dub Video

Jenny Trejo, Staff Writer

On Wednesday, April 15, Stamford High will be having its first-ever lip dub. What is lip dub, you ask? According to Wikipedia, a lip dub is “a type of video that combines lip synching and audio dubbing to make a music video. It is made by filming individuals or a group of people lip syncing while listening to a song or any recorded audio then dubbing over it in post editing with the original audio of the song.

The lip dub will be held after the half day; the announcements will inform everyone  where to meet. There is no set time on how long it will take, as it depends on how many takes are required to get it right. Anyone who would like to take part in this event is welcome to, but make sure you will be able to get home afterwards; the buses will be on their normal schedule, so there won’t be any buses to provide transportation after the lip dub. Seniors are also welcome to sign up to be one of the lip syncers in room 624.
