With Super Bowl 49 just around the corner, there only remain four teams fighting for a ring. These teams are the best of the best. They have proven themselves worthy through hard work and determination, that they are the ones deserving of being Super Bowl Champions.

In the AFC Championship (America Football Conference) it is the Indianapolis Colts versus the New England Patriots. With New England being favored this game, and their veteran quarterback Tom Brady leading the way, a victory this Sunday will make it their eighth Super Bowl appearance in franchise history. The Colts however had an extremely impressive win last Sunday against former Colts quarterback, and Hall-of-Famer Peyton Manning, and the Broncos.

In the NFC (National Football Conference) it will be the Green Bay Packers versus, the defending Super Bowl champions, the Seattle Seahawks. Seattle could potentially win back-to-back Super Bowl titles with their star, lockdown cornerback Richard Sherman. The Packers Aaron Rodgers has been playing with an injury (left calf) but has still been playing up to his expectations.

Junior Jack Obrien thinks it will be between the Seahawks and the Colts. “Seattle has the best Secondary in the league with Richard Sherman Kam Chancellor and Bryon Maxwell. Russel Wilson also knows how to win. I pick the Seahawks.”

When asked who is going to be in the Super bowl and win, senior Patriots fan Michael White said, “Patriots, Seahawks but the Patriots offense is just too explosive. They (Patriots) should win this game.” But senior Giants fan Danny Williams had something to say about that saying, “ I really really want Seattle to beat the crap outta New England” like any typical Giants fan would say.

Many students think that the Super Bowl match up is going to be Seattle versus the Patriots except for one brave soul. senior Brianna Aries believes it is going to be the Packers versus the Colts, with the Packers coming out on top. “I think the Packers are going to win because they beat the Cowboys…and I hate the Cowboys.” junior Annie Archer also believes that the Packers are going to win, however her reasoning is slightly different, “Because I like Aaron Rodgers!!”

This years super is going to be one to remember and with dangerous underdogs that could potentially be crowned Super Bowl Champions, there is no telling what could happen.
