The Super Bowl is here! A day for dedicated football fans and average T.V watchers alike. Now, if you’re the brave soul who offered up your house, time and food for a Super Bowl party, it’s in your best interest to pay attention to these 10 steps to ensure a great night.

  • Serve the right snacks.  Finger Foods are always the right way to go.  Here’s a few that will have your guests coming back for more: pigs in a blanket, chicken wings, chips and salsa and guacamole, sliders, veggies and dip. And, you can never go wrong with a few boxes of pizza.
  • Never run out of snacks. Chances are one half of the party is going to be very upset with their losing team. Try to avoid increasing that anger by running out of snacks because there’s nothing worse than reaching into a bowl hoping for a handful of      chips and coming up empty handed.
  • Control The Thirst. With all the shouting, the occasional dry mouth is bound to happen. Avoid this by stocking up on liter bottles of soda, a box of Snapple and Arizona Iced Teas.
  • Have Half Time Games Set Up.  It’s no lie that watching the entire halftime show can be very hard. The ever popular game, Corn Hole, should make an appearance at your party.
  • Rate The Commercials. Keep a tally of the commercials that create the most laughs at the party, and then vote on the best one!
  • Do Your Research.  You should probably know who is playing and the general rules of football; it’s called a touchdown, not a field goal.
  • Entertain Everyone. There will probably be a few people at your party that aren’t going to be the biggest football fans, so hand them a tray of snacks and send them on their way. They’ll have no problem mingling all night.
  • Don’t Forget About The Next Morning. That’s right, Monday morning, and that means school. If you have people      sleeping over, make sure you serve some cereal, maybe pancakes if you’re      feeling really nice, and piping hot cups of coffee.
  • If All Else Fails… Pack up the cars and head over to Buffalo Wild Wings, or SBC, chances are they know what they’re doing.
  • Have Fun and Don’t Stress. If  you’re constantly worrying about Derek not putting his drink on the      coaster, then you’re not going to be enjoying your own party! Sit back, relax and enjoy the game!
