This is honestly embarrassing to the SHS community. While these videos are generally light-hearted and funny, I think that the Round Table needs to reevaluate its intentions when publishing videos. This isn’t news, or even reporting. All this video does is mock SHS and its students.

Thanks for your input! As the adviser, I will say that the students really aim for a balance when publishing stories or videos; you’ll find that in addition to these lighter stories there is plenty of serious news, feature, and editorial content on the site. And while I can understand your concern about the tone of this particular video, I should also point out that within the building these videos are extremely popular and frequently requested by students and staff. And also that videos of people answering questions correctly aren’t very entertaining! It’s hard to cater to such a diverse audience (high school students, faculty members, alumni, and the community in general) without sometimes occasionally producing something that rubs a few people the wrong way. As always, we appreciate the feedback from a reader, and please continue to let us know what you think!

this video really proves that if you surround yourself with smart people, you’ll go farther in life. i am astonished by the lack of political knowledge in most of these kids. the freshmen got the most right answers…
