Intro and Game-Play:

The most anticipated soccer game of the year was finally released on September 22, 2015. Bringing brand new aspects and even female teams in the game, FIFA 16 is a very promising video game. Last year it felt like FIFA 15 had many improvements from the year before. However, FIFA 16 brings brand new, exciting features that pleases those who  played this game. The graphics of FIFA games have always been outstanding, and this year is no exception. Players’ faces, movements and even flops look more realistic than ever. Pace, over-the-top-through balls and bad goalkeeping were aspects of FIFA 15 that caused some frustration to gamers. FIFA 16 takes all of these aspects of FIFA 15 and makes them more “realistic.” Pass interceptions are more frequent in this game which is a very upsetting aspect of it; if you relied on through balls splitting the defense you will have a hard time adjusting to this new feature. Learning the game of FIFA 16 is not easy and it is almost like learning a brand new game, which might not be easy for those who enjoyed earlier versions of FIFA.

Women are in the Game:

For the first time in FIFA history, the game’s developers, Electronic Arts (EA), introduced women’s teams to the game. Women’s and men’s game-plays are vastly different. Women’s game-play is a bit slower than men’s, which creates less predictability in playing. Predictability is always something that users struggle with on the previous games. Women’s game modes are limited; you can only play tournaments and exhibition matches. The game features the 12 prominent international soccer teams. Interestingly, FIFA did not include Japan’s national team, which is odd because Japan is one of the top teams in the world and the runner-up for the FIFA Women’s Cup

Introducing Draft Mode:

FIFA Ultimate Team, commonly known as FUT, has always been one of the most played feature in the game series, and EA has added a new option which allows players to get a brand new team every four matches along with best players in the game in order to get coins and rewards. This new feature is called Draft Mode. This allows you to draft a team on Ultimate Team, whether you want to have an online team or a single player team. FIFA 16 gives you the chance to build a team from scratch with good players and compete against either other people or the computer. However, the only negative thing about this feature is that it takes 15,000 out of your own coins or one draft token to be eligible for Draft Mode. The game gives you one draft token in the beginning, which helps you build your team, which you can use for four wins – the point of this mode is to get four straight wins which gives you FUT rewards and the title as champion. After the first time you play you will have to use your coins or a draft token, which can also be earned in packs. Overall, Draft Mode is a very exciting feature and it helps users get better teams

Conclusion:

In conclusion, FIFA 16 is a fantastic game. The new additions bring an exciting feel to the game which players will like. Adding female characters is something that FIFA should have done years ago. They have done a spectacular job. People have always complained in FUT that coins are limited and it was hard to get new players. However, Draft Mode addresses this issue. FIFA has always been a very popular game series and it has recieved positive reviews over the years. This year it is no different and EA did not disappoint.
