As we know, Halloween is just around the corner, and Connecticut offers many exciting and terrifying attractions close to us. These attractions vary from haunted houses to hay rides, spooky walks and many other creepy attractions. So if you are looking for something fun and scary to do this Halloween, I recommend you check out one of the following:

  1. Legends of Fear- Fair View Tree Farm: This attraction is located on a local farm in Shelton. The farm is completely transformed into a spooky and terrifying scene which, will bring a lot of chills and screams. The attraction has two activities: the Melon Head Revenge Walk and the Annual Haunted Hayride. The Melon Head Revenge is over half a mile of walking trail deep in the forest, with over 30 terrifying creatures. The Annual Haunted Hayride is a 1.5 mile hayride in the dark with 60 creatures waiting just for you.

  1. Nightmare on Wolcott Street: This attraction consists of an indoor haunted house located in the city of Waterbury, CT. The haunted house has over 55 rooms filled with chainsaws, live characters, animatronics and much more, which are likely to leave you terrified.

  1. The Dark Manor Haunted House: The attraction is a haunted house which is regularly voted Connecticut’s Scariest Haunted House. The attraction has two activities at one location. The first is the “Manor,” also known as the haunted house, which has two floors filled with many terrifying things that will make you scream at the top of your lungs. The second activity is just around the corner outside of the Manor; it is known as the Graveyard or Haunted Village. It is filled with zombies, chainsaw freaks and many animated props and actors. It should keep you sleepless!

  1. Haunt of Eden: This attraction is actually a walk through a haunted house built by the Doris family. The haunted house is built right outside of their home, and is filled with terrifying and spooky creatures that will leave you terrified.

  1. The Haunted Graveyard – Lake Compounce: Around this time of year, the amusement park is transformed into a terrifying spooky Halloween attraction. It has six major haunted houses and about 200 actors around the park, and based on the reviews, it’s something no one should miss!
