After spending 30 years in the making, it is finally here. On February 26, Fuller House came out on Netflix and so far it is great! All of the same characters are present from the original Full House series, except for the Olsen twins who played the youngest sister, Michelle. In the first episode of Fuller House, it was said that Michelle was busy in New York doing fashion. The house and its setup is the same, and characters still have their same personalities. The only major difference recognized in the first episode is that everyone is older. D.J. (Candace Cameron-Bure) has three kids and owns a pet clinic. Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) is a DJ who calls herself “D.J. Tanner” and travels the world. Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber) is still strange old Kimmy, except now she is an event planner and has a daughter and soon-to-be ex-husband. Danny Tanner (Bob Saget) is still a clean freak but is now remarried. Danny is still a morning talk show host with Rebecca Katsopolis (Lori Loughlin) who is married to Uncle Jesse (John Stamos). Their twins are now in college. Uncle Jesse is still a singer and charming as ever. Uncle Joey (Dave Coulier) is still a comedian, but he lives in Las Vegas.

It is stated in the first episode that D.J. was married but her husband died doing his job as a firefighter. Now she is a single mom to three boys, one of whom is a baby. The Tanner family was supposed to sell their beloved San Francisco house since everyone is going their own separate ways with their careers and individual families, but at the end of episode one it was decided that D.J. and her kids are going to move into the house. Stephanie and Kimmy also decided that they were going to move in to help her out.

Even though so much time has passed, this loving family always brings a laugh to viewers. I personally enjoyed the first episode of the season and definitely had some laughs. The thing that surprised me the most is that after all these years, the faces of the original characters still look pretty similar and it almost feels like I am watching the original Full House. It is a shame that the series is only aired on Netflix, but it you do have a Netflix or a friend, go and watch and see what other interesting and humorous things go on in the other 12 remaining episodes in the series.
