The Supporting Survivors of Sexual/Domestic Violence Club is collecting new sweatpants and sweatshirts for the Rowan Center. This local organization provides support services for those who have experienced sexual and/or domestic violence. The Rowan Center is on Summer Street in Stamford. It is important to note that they have and continue to serve and support current and former Stamford High students.
The Rowan Center gives sweatpants and sweatshirts to survivors getting a SAFE (Sexual Assault Forensic Exam) at the hospital, since their clothes are often collected as evidence during the exam. The club met with the Rowan Center and learned they need small or medium sweatpants and sweatshirts (they must be new and contain no logos/phrases). Here is a wishlist to help gather these items.
You can go to this Amazon wishlist to order sweatpants and sweatshirts, we are collecting. They are $11 and $16 and will be shipped directly to Stamford High.
Thank you for your support!
