The Palace and Salgado Productions are pleased to announce the 7 th Annual Ernie DiMattia Emerging
Young Artist Awards given for Playwriting. Three high school students in grades nine through twelve
will win monetary prizes for their writing of an original 15 minute, One Act play.

The winners will each receive $500!

The three winning plays will each have a reading of their play on Zoom with professional New York
Directors and Actors on Sunday, March 14, 2021. With the guidance of Luis Salgado and Salgado
Productions Directors, the students will further develop their characters and their play during the rehearsal
process.

The completed applications must be sent to [email protected] by 5 pm on February 1, 2021.
