Here are five good things that President Donald Trump has done since entering office:

1. The stock market has skyrocketed.

Since Donald Trump was elected president, the stock market has soared and even made history when the Dow Jones Industrial Average exceeded the 20,000 mark. Some of Trump’s economic priorities consist of deregulation, corporate tax cuts, and reductions in the income tax rates. Trump’s business plans are designed to show growth and profitability and will ultimately boost the economy in the future.

2. He is rebuilding the Armed Forces.

As commander-in-chief, President Trump has signed an order that will revamp our nation’s military. “I’m signing an executive action to begin a great rebuilding of the armed services of the United States, developing a plan for new planes, new ships, new resources and new tools for our men and women in uniform,” said Trump. Trump plans to make the United States the world’s strongest military force that we once were.

3. Trump is lowering pharmaceutical prices.

President Trump has been working toward manufacturing more drugs and pharmaceuticals in the United States and lowering their prices. Trump has stated that his administration will lower regulations for pharmaceutical companies so that it is not as expensive for them to produce in the U.S. Trump is focused on giving patients more choice and helping them with their medical bills.

4. He is fulfilling his campaign promises.

What Donald Trump is doing should not be taken as a surprise. He has been carrying out exactly what he campaigned for. We all knew that he was going to put a ban on Muslims and refugees, and people voted on it by making him the president. The fact that he is staying true to his words shows strong leadership and determination.

5. Trump is forming better relations with Russia.

Trump recently defended Vladimir Putin by stating the United States is not innocent and that we also have killers within our borders, similarly to Russia. Although I don’t necessarily agree that the United States is comparable to Russia, the suggestion that we are not a perfect country, and Trump’s respect for Russia, may result in a better relationship. A healthy relationship with Russia could result in a strong military alliance.

Since entering office, Trump has already taken many successful steps toward finally making America great again.
