Inspiring! So great to see all these different groups get together and remind us that SHS, while have suffered from the bad decisions of a few, is not defined by those few. Great job!

This lip dup left the students, staff and admin of Stamford High School feeling euphoric. There was a connection created that is still resonating in the halls of this school. Everyone involved acted professionally and responsibly. Not everything has to do with taxpayers and wasted money, and the unfortunate occurrences that took place earlier this year. Great job Stamford High students and staff!!!

Who wants to bet, had Nordin or Valentine still been at the school all students would be given detention or suspension and all employees be complained to about embarrassing the school? First act of true school spirit since the Riot of 2010. #WWWYKI

I am the older sister of 1 sister that graduated from there and 1 graduating this year. I was so happy to see so many students take the time to participate in a school event. Its not something you see much. Im happy to saw the video was great and keep up the tradition. Congratulations! It shouldnt always be about cost but positivity.

At a time when SHS needed to show the Stamford community their Black Knight Pride it makes me proud to be the parent of a senior student who was a part of this awesome video. BRAVO to Jon Ringel for being a phenomenal role model and teacher! Kudos to Matt Forker and Rafael Escobar for being a part of, and allowing our students to express themselves in such a fun and creative way.

i will give the students an “A” for creativity and the amount of students involved with this video. That being said, I give the ADMINISTRATION ( whomever that may be) as well as the Stamford Board of Education from the Superintendent of Schools, to ASK and RECEIVE more TAXPAYERS $$$$ when an ENORMOUS amount of SCHOOL TIME was spent producing a video which at times could be considered provocative. NOT surprising considering that TAXPAYERS are PAYING the LEGAL FEES of even those found GUILTY of SEXUAL Misconduct, or IMPROPER REPORTING. The Leaders are setting the Example. It may be TIME FOR A CHANGE !!’ Is THIS how you want STAMFORD to be REPRESENTED? NOT I !!

Please allow me to address some of those concerns. I am the adviser of the Round Table, and the chief organizer of this event. As such, I can assure you that this video was produced at no extra cost to taxpayers, as all the supplies were purchased with proceeds from student fundraising activities. Secondly, an enormous amount of school time was not spent on this video; it was shot in under an hour, after dismissal on a Wednesday. All of the students and staff involved were there voluntarily. To me, that’s the best part – every single student in the video is there because they wanted to be! That says a lot.

I have no idea what you think is provocative about this video. What problem could you possibly have with staff and students showing school spirit in such a fun and inclusive way?
This is EXACTLY how I want Stamford to be represented.
