Oh no! Halloween is less than a week away and you still don’t have your costume ready for the party you’re attending this year. Do not worry! I’m here to help you with some last minute, great ideas that you can wear this year. Most of them can be created with items you have at home. Here’s a list of five costumes that will take very little time to put together:

1. A ghost: This costume is super easy! All you need is an old bed sheet (preferably white), scissors, and a sharpie. You just have to cut holes out of the sheet and decorate it any way you like and there you go, you’re a ghost!   

2. A Christmas tree: This costume is great if you’re a festive person. All you need is to take last years old Christmas tree decorations and wrap them around yourself with a green outfit underneath. Then top it off with a bow and there you go! 

3. A scarecrow: Super cute and easy! This costume is more favored by the ladies. All you have to do is take a plaid shirt and jeans, pair them up with a pair of riding boots and a sun hat. Want to do a little extra? You can even paint your face to complete the look. 

4. A unicorn: Probably the easiest of them all! Just take a piece of paper and roll it up into a cone and make 2 holes and place a string through it to make the little horn on top of the head. Also add some face paint to spice it up. Then wear pastels or white and there’s your costume! 

5. Dead bride: Very spooky but clever! Also favored by ladies, but it definitely would be very goofy if a man did it! Have a white dress or vile laying around? If so, this will be the perfect costume. Just add some black and red face paint to your face to make it look bloody and black and blue and you’re done!
