Here at Stamford High School we have a rich history that is celebrated each and every day.  We also have, though, our fair share of embarrassing and cringe-worthy moments.  Take, for example, October of 1996.  Although this was a mere 18 years ago, the language students’ used was like nothing else.  It’s crazy to think that students like us actually used the word “phat”, and it’s amazing that “stupid” translated to “way cool”.  The changes in slang over a less than 20 year period is unbelievable!
