How buying clothing off-season saves you the big bucks

Why do we buy things for the summer during the winter? It may seem like you are just wasting your money, however shopping this way can be huge money-saver. Many summer clothes are cheaper in the winter and although there is not as much of a selection, you can usually find some really great pieces if you try. Another thing stores do in the winter is have additional clearance on their sales. This brings down the price even further. A pair of shorts that costs $60 in July can be brought down to $20 in the middle February! Not many people know this, or care to buy summer clothes during this time, so there is not much competition when it comes to stock.

Another great thing about buying clothes for the future is that you have a chance to re-vamp your style in advance: it gives you a chance to buy one amazing shirt that you have months to look for other shorts or skirts to go with, instead of rushing to get an outfit together. This also gives you a chance to change your style if you want to; to maybe go from a classic look to boho if that is what is going to be in trending in spring and summer months.

Buying clothes for the upcoming season has become more and more popular every year. People are realizing that they have early access to the same clothes at a cheaper price. These kinds of sales can be found at Urban Outfitters, LF, Free People, Forever 21 and H&M. All of these hip, youth- oriented stores know that the average teenager doesn’t have a ton of money to spare and that we will probably use the little money we have on sales. These stores realize that we are trying to grab onto as many deals as possible.
