With the senior class officers’ determination and the help of Mr. Bass, our current principal, the homecoming dance was brought back to our school from years past when we used to host one. Last year, the school hosted a winter formal, and that trend continues with the reintroduction of homecoming.

The dance will take place in the new gym on Friday, November 21, 2014. The tickets will be going on sale from Tuesday, November 18 to Thursday, November 20. You can purchase your ticket for admission after school in room 507. The tickets are $10 and must be paid in cash. Anyone who wishes to attend, be sure to buy your tickets on the correct date. You must dress semi-formal, no jeans allowed!

Homecoming promises to be a great school event that brings peers together, provided that everyone actually knows about it. Senior Julia Bonilla said “I didn’t know about it, but I want to go because it’s my senior year.”  Junior Hannah Davis also expressed concern that the event was not publicized enough, “I feel like no one knows about it, so no one is going to go.”
