Stamford High is now accepting applicants for its trip to Cadiz, Spain! This trip to Spain happened once before in 2010 and it was tremendously successful with 29 students in attendance. Student’s who wish to go on the trip must submit an application, sign a rules and regulations agreement, have a waiver/release form signed by their parents or guardians, submit two letters of recommendation from teachers, and hand over a nonrefundable check for $1275.00 made out to: SHS trip to Spain 2014 to either Mrs. Anderson (Room 514) or Mr. Gladstone (Room 614). The deadline for the trip is Wednesday, November 20th. The trip will last for fifteen days starting June 28th and ending July 12th. Spanish families will host the students who attend.
The trip is packed with fun and exciting scheduled events that are meant to show the splendor and beauty of the Spanish countryside and culture. Sadly this isn’t just a vacation, students who choose to go will attend the Mundolengua language school. Where students will be taught not just Spanish classes but take part in an innovative cultural Spanish program.
