The Milky Wayv is one of the great hidden gems of the Internet. They are a record label and a collective that have made a name through SoundCloud. Created by Bobby Earth,  The Milky Wayv takes a select group of artists from Houston, Texas and puts all of their sounds together. From relaxed tones to funky beats, The Milky Wayv puts out amazing music, making sure they spend their time on each song to produce music everyone will love listening to. The artists in the collective such as Bobby Earth also get the opportunity to create some of their own music.

Unfortunately, while they still create great music, a lot of the band members have left, meaning mixtapes like “The Greatest Mixtape You’ve Ever Heard,” will never be heard again. That being said, the music they release still has the unique feeling in every track. In fact, one of my favorite songs by the group is the recently released, “Can You Feel It Too.” They even use one of their old band members, Big Brandon Willis, to play the synthesizer in the song (maybe hinting at a return?!).

Having toured with bands like The Internet, it is only a matter of time before this band will be discovered and have their own tours, leading to the creation of their own albums. Their label is on the rise and I am excited to see what they will achieve in the years to come.
