Logic Finishes Sold Out Tour with Great Performance in NYC
April 20, 2016
Logic, a rapper from Gaithersburg, Maryland, completed his sold out tour, The Incredible True Story World Tour, on April 4. We got the chance to see the last performance at Terminal 5 in New York City.
Logic started out the show with DJ Medley to get the crowd to sing along and get pumped. Shortly after, he kept restarting the song Fade Away because the fans weren’t as hyped as Logic wanted. He asked, “Are you sure you guys are feelin’ this?” He really wanted to make sure we got the best experience from him, especially since it was his last show of the tour. The crowd had an overwhelmingly positive response whenever he asked.
Logic especially wanted to make the last show special by calling out about 15 fans to ask their name and age and make sure they were having a good time, and to thank them for coming out to see him. He even shouted out to two 13-year-olds on the second tier who were with their dad and said the kids were going to get b*tches tonight. It was freezing in line so he wanted to thank all of us for making the effort for him.
He brought all of his friends on stage who either helped him on set, on tour, or got him to where he was today. Logic continued to shout out his wife who accompanied him on the tour but was too shy to be introduced on stage.
Everyone turned on their phone flashlights for “City of Stars” and it was cool to look around the whole scene. Logic posted a picture of his view and it looked like he was inside the disco ball. It was such a breathtaking view.
He included some throwback songs for his older, original fans like “Alright” and “Ballin.” He stopped during these songs to make sure we all knew them and he wasn’t wasting time. We knew people around us were familiar, especially the two men in front of us were two die hard Logic fans. They both rapped lyrics to a more difficult verse at full volume, then looked at each other, hugged and introduced themselves. Its funny how Logic brings strangers together to share something they both love.
