After Charlotte DiLaurentis, also known to viewers as Cece Drake, was revealed as A and as Alison’s estranged and transgender sister, the sixth season of Pretty Little Liars continued with episode 11 in which five years have gone by since the tenth episode. Episode 11 premiered on January 12 at 8 p.m. The girls’ lives were shown to have changed throughout the five years that they have been free from the terror of A. The girls’ relationships have changed as well- Aria and Ezra didn’t stay together, neither did Spencer and Toby, nor Hanna and Caleb. The girls are brought back to Rosewood by Alison who writes to them in hopes that they will make a positive statement about Charlotte DiLaurentis in order to help release her from the hospital and evade time in jail – ten minutes into the episode and the drama has already started again.

But the drama never ends in this hit TV series, as you would know if you have watched for the past six and a half years. The same usual random twists occur as the girls plan to make a statement to ensure that Charlotte will stay locked up. Hanna, Spencer and Emily end up lying to the judge saying that they will feel safe with Charlotte’s release. However, Aria who is so traumatized by the games that Charlotte played with her in the past, states that she would not feel safe if Charlotte were to be released. But critics are questioning now if there is more to just Ali’s long lost brother, now sister, drama story. They’re questioning if there were really more people involved with A than just Charlotte herself.

The episode ends with the apparent suicide of Charlotte the morning after she was released from prison. Strangely, her funeral was held in the same church that she allegedly jumped out of the window from. Watching all four girls attend Charlotte’s funeral brings feelings of déjà vu from the very first season when the girls all attended Alison DiLaurentis’ funeral. The dramatic entrance of Sara Harvey (one of A’s redcoats) was similar to Jenna’s dramatic entrance at Alison’s funeral, which was shortly after the girls threw a stink bomb in Jenna’s house, causing her to go blind. One last dramatic twist at the end of the episode was revealed when Officer Lorenzo told the girls that Charlotte DiLaurentis was already dead before her body was thrown from the church window. Her death was now being ruled a homicide and no longer a suicide. More lies and scandal were have said to be followed in next Tuesday’s episode.

The 11th Episode definitely met its expectations for drama and was plotted well. Watching the girls get tangled in more drama was very much like old times. PLL fans should continue to watch for more drama and secrets to be revealed.
