Beerbongs and Bentleys Offers Diverse Listening Experience

Post Malone was first widely known for his 2015 popular hit,” White Iverson,” and has now taken a few different turns in his sound. His fame has risen even more after the release of Beerbongs and Bentleys. I’m a Post Malone fan, so I was very excited to hear it and had very high expectations. I like it when an artist has versatility and they don’t sound the same on every single song, and on Post Malone’s new album, I was pleased to have songs to fit different moods. He didn’t disappoint; a favorite of mind is “92 Explorer,” a feel good song that I love to listen to when I’m happy. But there are also songs like “Stay” or “Otherside” that are favorites of mine when I’m in a more chill mood.

Post has a very melodic sound, but still has the elements of hip hop mixed in with his lyrics and beats. He also features popular artists such as 21 Savage, Swae Lee, Nicki Minaj and G-Eazy etc. Songs like “Psycho” and “Rockstar” have been up on the charts for weeks.

Going back to the sound of the album and versatility, he has more mainstream sounding songs like “Same Bitches,”Takin Shots” and “Ball For Me.” These surprisingly transition quite well with the more mellow rock inspired songs, like” Blame It On Me.” and” Over Now.” He also incorporates a lot of guitar, which you don’t hear much from hip hop or rap artists.

In conclusion, Beerbongs and Bentleys is a wide ranged album that I enjoy very much and listen to daily; it includes a lot of the music styles I listen to and it fits for any situation.
