The Strawberry Hill Players are looking forward to their spring musical production of Legally Blonde.  The cast list for the play was posted on Sunday, February 1^st after auditions and callbacks occurred the week prior.

The entire cast is extremely excited for this show to take place.  Junior Lauryn Schiller, who will be portraying Elle in the musical, is especially thrilled.  Schiller shares that, “I am excited to play Elle,” due to the fact that “she’s so iconic and I’ve wanted to play her since I was young.”

Sophomore Bryce Drynan, who was cast as Emmett, pumped for the play as well.  Drynan stated, “I have been looking forward to doing the show since it was announced last year.” Drynan also attributes his excitement to the cast, sharing that “The cast is unbelievably talented and I feel privileged to be able to work on such an amazing production with them. That just adds to the excitement and energy I have for this show.”

Director Tommy Desalvo added that he is “beyond excited to be directing such a fun show with an amazing cast.”  He also shared that this show will be special “because we have four staff members at Stamford High participating in the show also.”  The four staff members participating are Mrs. Dinnuci, Mr. Ringel, Mr. White, and security guard Frank Russo.

Everyone should come out and support your favorite classmates and staff members on May 1, 2, 9, and/or 10 later this year.
