Lady Knights Handed First Loss Of Season, Lose By 23 On The Road

On Dec. 23, the 2-0 Stamford Girls Basketball team traveled to Ridgefield High School to battle star Jess Camarda and the 0-1 Ridgefield Tigers. The result was an ugly 64-41 loss.

Right from the get-go the Black Knights weren’t able to keep up with the Ridgefield offense, led by Camarda who had 19 points in her teams winning effort.

Center/forward Alexa Kellner led the way for the Lady Knights with 14 points. Following her was star guard Tiana England with 12 points.

The Lady Knights fall to 2-1 and 1-1 in the FCIAC’s. Meanwhile, Ridgefield picks up their first win of the season after being upset in their opener.
